Plastic Septet (music) was formed in its present line-up in 2005. However it is the offspring of the legendary Plastic Ohara band (which played at several European jazz festivals and clubs around the year 2000). Their music is in the point of intersection of the Brezo Quartet and the Váczi Dániel Trio - strictly composed modern jazz or contemporary music with improvisational elements with innovative, instinctive performing.
According to the opinion of one of Hungary's leading cultural internet sites Plastic septet is 'the most hopeful jazz-band in Hungary today'.
